OILWORKER MONUMENT DEDICATION 

On October 15, 2010, the Oilworker Monument Committee, comprised of numerous local volunteers, dedicated the Oilworker Monument to the City of Taft. 

The Oilworker Monument, designed by Benjamin Victor, honors the men and women who worked in the oilfield industry. The preparation and construction of the monument evidences the spirit and commitment of the people of Taft.  The City of Taft is proud of its history and its community members.
