I am father of two, a 20 year old daughter currently attending Taft College and a 6 year old son attending Mckittrick Elementary School, as well as a husband to wonderful wife, she is a Taft High School Counselor and Taft College Math teacher. I teach Taft Community Day School. I enjoy our area for year round Mountain biking, trail running, camping, hiking, really anything outdoors. I want Taft to remain a small tight knit community with access to bigger town amenities and opportunities. Thank you for letting me serve you.

I currently work at Occidental of Elk Hills as a production specialist planner/scheduler. I graduated in 1995 from Taft High, and have earned 2 associates degrees from Taft College. I have a beautiful wife Donna, 2 wonderful boys Nathan and Kevin, and also have my sister Jamie with us. I love writing, fishing, and off road driving when I have then chance. My goals for the city is to improve efficiency, see measures that will make Taft life thrive for years to come, and engage in a growing relationship with many more citizens of the city. I’d like to see a growth in solar energy, activities for families, and improvements made on existing activity assets.
